Baker, Sausalito on Thursday, May 3 and Blues Monday at the Blue Wing Saloon, Upper Lake on Monday, May 7...Maria's Dine & Dance is a regular Thursday feature at Presidio Yacht Club. Dinner serves starting at 5 pm and the band plays for dancing from 7 until 10 pm. Dinner is priced at $8 and a $5 cover donation is requested for the band starting at 6:45. Yacht Club members pay no cover

here's Mike Wilhelm and Friends live at The Presidio Yacht Club, for Maria's scheduled Weekly Dine and Dance event..."Mike Wilhelm is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from California, United States of America. He was born in Los Angeles in 1942 and first learned to play blues guitar in his teens, from legendary Tennessee bluesman Walter "Brownie" McGhee. He served for a short time in the U.S. Navy before starting his professional music career as an opening act for The Chambers Brothers.[1]
He was a founding member of the influential Bay Area band The Charlatans, who were the first psychedelic rockband in San Francisco. During the 1960s, when the photographer Herb Green asked Jerry Garcia who his favorite guitarist was, Garcia responded "Mike Wilhelm" without hesitation..." From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Last night kicked off the second Thursday Night Dine & Dance event of 2012 at The Presidio Yacht Club in Sausalito with one of the most interesting groups I've seen in a long time. Blues Whale, a 3 piece juke box of folk, country, jugband, rock & roll and tunes I haven't heard in years...ie., Love in Vain, Season Of The Witch, Big Boss Man, Keep On Truckin' Mama"...I had the best time taping this bunch of young people and I wasn't alone...the audience was with them on every tune...
Here it is the 7th of January, 2012 and I think it's gonna' be a real fine year, I certainly hope so...here's The Doc Kraft Dance Band live at the Presidio Yacht Club last night and tonight they're appearing at the Seahorse in Sausalito...don't miss it if you can...
